    Default Just for the record...

Zip ties are not sufficent replacements for caliper bolts.

If it's not one thing, it's another... ugh.

Lost a caliper bolt, had to limp it across the street to a motel parking lot with a ziptie holding the caliper to the carrier.

Ziptie gave out just as I got across the street... hit the bump coming into the driveway and the front wheel locked up doing about 10 mph (caliper swung out, ground against the wheel, and wedged itself in there.

Got ahold of a bolt today, going back to fix and recover the car now.
