    Default Hey Winfred

Check out this huntin rig. The 1975 Volvo 1111 "eleven eleven". Has the 164 motor, infinitely adjustable lockers, putts like a moped as it munches rocks and cliffs with 8lbs of air in the tires. Inflate up to 32, and it's a 24 mpg 70 mph highway cruiser. This is the most versatile rig I have ever seen

    "google" http://www.soldf.com/tgb11.html

My friend is bringing two more over this summer..he's got way more 4x4's than he can handle, and he's a serious rock muncher

I haven't posted all the 4th weekend pics, but the rest are here

You just can't believe how solid this lil fu*ker is. It just eats mountains

We got the engine in galaxie, and distributor finally dialed in. Next job is the 3.0CS.

I'll post more as they upload, sorry if they're not all shrunk to fit and photobucket is acting up today.

It's actually very modest in size, other than the clearance, it's shorter than a yukon.

My pic host is melting down or I'd show more pics.

If click the google search link you will see covered versions, and 6 wheelers etc. It is so bitchin. Windshield folds down, roll bars fold down, storage out the wazoo, jump seats...it really needs no mods ('cept for better gun racks )

It's so quiet, it could definetely sneak up on you though. For Texas it'd need a little bigger radiator, but that's about it.

check this out, everything is above the axle...gearing is too complicated to remember

Here are the other toys, but these are over 3 tons

We had this troop carrier teed up for the parade but my lil chief button pusher put the facocta on it and it wouldn't start the morning of. Talk about tantrum when leaving it in the driveway..

some more 4th pics. Galaxie gets new hood painted, back in as daily driver. Work begins on the 3.0CS...though my capacity is strictly wrench fetcher, fender leaner and beer opener

    [and here's a link to more volvo 303's / 1111's ]
