Is it normal for the aux fan to go on and stay on after the car is started?

This is without AC turned on, and with the blower turned to the first mark. A few minutes after starting the car up, the aux fan turns on, and won't go off until the the car is turned off. Is this normal, or maybe an issue with the fan itself?

not normal, kinda hard to say what's the problem, id start by checking out the coolent sensor on the right side of the radiator, high and low speed are controled there
