Trying to get a leave pass - it will be the 3rd BMW weekend in the month - "she who must be obeyed" is getting a little testy.
For all Sydneysiders the 2004 Springfest Down Under will be held on Sunday 26th September.
This date misses both the BMW Club Show 'n Shine on the 12th and the Track Day at Eastern Creek on the 19th.
The route is yet to be finalised but first lets see what kind of turnout we are likely to have. Please email me directly at geoff.hoad@amcor.com.au to advise whether you would be interested in coming. Whilst this is mainly an E34 gathering we are also happy to see other BMW's as well.
Here is the writeup from last years adventure!

That worries me too. We all need to keep the "Ministers for War" happy Vegemites. It is possible we could change it to 3rd October. Whic would better suit everyone?

the 3rd sounds good to me - and the weather should be warming up (this bloody drought will probably break then).Originally Posted by Geoff Hoad

It has been decided that Springfest Down Under will be held on Sunday 26th September 2004.
This date was chosen becasue the BMW Club (to which many of you belong) has its Show 'n Shine on Sunday 12th September, and a Track Day at Eastern Creek Raceway on Sunday 19th September.
Likewise the first weekend of October is a Long Weekend and finally Bathurst 1000 is on the second weekend in October. Any further back and we won't have time for a pre-Christmas run.
So there's the date. Hope this fits in with everyone. Within 24 hours of announcing it we already have 9 people who have signed up. Hope that's a good sign. Be nice to get a turnout liek the Mid West meet!![]()
