Default nice 15" basketweaves on Ebay...ends Friday around 10:45 PM Central

Not mine and no affiliation. I remember members looking occasionally to replace a bent or curbed wheel, so thought I'd post this. If you're interested, better check them out quickly. The auction ends soon.

Went pretty cheap...someone got a good deal which is good to see once in a while.
Thanks for the heads up Robert...put your feelers out for a rare set of staggered throwing stars for me would you? :-)

"pretty cheap", huh?? ~$520 (delivered) for a set of 4 nice stock wheels (and tires) is a good price, but not exactly cheap in my book.....

Bret...shipping is the heavy hit for the basketweaves...thought the actual wheel and tire price was good if the weaves were as pristine as advertised. It is very hard to find used wheels in real good shape. I am somewhat surprised by how many people curb their wheels. All it takes is some care not to. Warren is referring to this farcical witch hunt we all went on together to try and land me some throwing stars. The guy selling them was a moron and it got crazier the more we all tried to talk and make arrangements to meet with the guy. The guy is either real stupid or the wheels are hot and he was getting paranoid when we started asking him a lot of questions like we knew what we were looking for.
In hindsight the whole thing is quite funny and Warren...here is the kicker...the guy hasn't sold the wheels to his cousin yet so it may not be over...lol.

yeah...like dem. Guess I should move to Germany and set up a BMW used parts export business. Would help to speak better German :-) What I find a bit ironic is one man's coveted rare possession is another's ho-hum passe common item. Case in point throwing stars...as common as light bulbs there and highly sought after here. Same thing with used Alpina wheels.
