    Default Part Numbers

    hello all,
This is kind of a random question but what part numbers are printed on the parts themselves? Every part has a number but none of them correspond to the parts numbers in the ETK. Are they the german part numbers or something? I have tried typing them into the foreign parts numbers section but get nothing. Is there anyway to lok up the part number using the number printed on the part? It's nothing important but just something that has been bothering me.

    Thanks everyone in advance,

Default I think it goes group # then part #...

    For example, the p/n on a turn signal is 1 377 845, while the p/n in ETK is 63 14 1 377 845.

May not hold true for everything but it works in this case.
