Intensive washer question
Hello all
I wonder if anyone can offer advice on this? The intensive washer system packed up recently, so I put a meter across the terminal which powers the intensive screen wash pump and sure enough they receive about 11v for an instant and the normal wipers then do their correct three wipes of the screen accomanied by the normal wash jets, so it looked as though the meter would pass the current and complete the circuit, enabling the further, and correct, operation of the ordinary pump. So I bought a new pump thinking that had failed - but no, it makes no difference. The new pump will not make any sound at all. Any ideas - fuse, relay? But if there is a voltage there, is there still a lack of current perhaps to power the higher demand of the pump as opposed to the meter? Any ideas gratefully received!
Thanks in advance,
