What colour if....

What colour skirts would my car have if it were an M5..i believe they have contrasting colours...if it were an M5 in 1989 did they all have skirts?

I think you will find that all '88, '89, '90 model M5's had black side skirts and lower bumper edges, no matter the colour of the car.

In '91 when they first appeared with "throwing star" wheels the M5 had contrasting colour side skirts and lower bumper. Remember that the M5 bumpers are completely different to the 525i and 535i.

It is also worth noting that while the M5 side skirts are black the trim pieces to the bottom of the doors are body coloured - also different to the 525i and 535i.
