What they probably mean is that the output of this sensor is linear over a varying a/f ratio in comparison to the standard narrow band O2 sensor, which really only has two useful states: richer or leaner than stoichiometric. A narrow band sensor can't be used to indicate that the a/f ratio is 12.7:1 (for example)Originally Posted by winfred
