when the motors go they usually take the resistor with it, so i'd replace the resistor first, then if it still doesn't work take it back to whoever did that the first time.
The blower motor doesn't work at any speed so is it possible that it's not the motor but the resistor or something else?
I just can't believe that it's the motor as I put in a new one just over a year ago from BMA and it was barely used. Is it possible that some electrical gremlin is causing it to fail?
