So, do Octane Booster's really work? And how much do they "boost" the octane? The local Dollar Tree has Octane Boost, can I buy 88 octane gas and just add some boost? I only ask because it would be cheaper as the Dollar Tree sells it for, well, a dollar.

unless you have an aftermarket chip doubt you'll notice any difference in performance...save your money. Buy low grade fuel at new reputable gas station.

ive been told that octane booster raises your total octane .4 or .04 percent. i frgt which one, so it really is useless. just buy 91 octane and you will be fine.

right, when it says it will raise you octane X points they are referring to .x which is a 10th of a point.
