    Where can I buy an auxiliary pump for my 89 535i?

    Default At BMA which you'll find here or just bypass it and do without it...

    How do I bypass it? Can someone tell me maybe with a picture?

    Default Sorry, don't have any pictures handy of it.. but you just

    remove the heater valve and auxiliary pump as a unit far enough to get to the hose clamps on it, unplug the power to it, remove hoses and connect them to each other with a 90 degree pipe nipple or you can use any number of heater hose splice adaptors you'll find at most autoparts houses.

    Default Yes, but it won't work as well when your sitting still idling for

    prolonged periods

    Default auxiliary pump

    I unscrewed the four scews on top of the auxiliary pump, disasembled the top portion and cleaned, since the leak was coming from the screws, I'm going to replace the o-ring to see if that will put a stop to the leak, if not I will bypass and buy one from bma, Thanks.
