    Default what is the timing chain life expectency on a m60???

    I've had my timing chain covers off and those things are beefy, and they run through oil all the time. I'd put life expectancy somewhere between your mileage and infinity. (meaning if you are a nut, go ahead and change em, if not, I think your wheels will fall off and your block will turn to dust before those chains break.

    might not break but I'll bet that they stretch. I dont know how adversly it will affect the cam timing. I would like to see a comparison of a fresh one to one with a million miles on it.
