Will HID Lights from a euro e38 work???

That plug looks like a nightmare, can anybody tell me if this will work???

looks like a scart tv plug!He says they fit and i think tim collins knows.I recall a post ton the old board suggesting they fit...perhaps look tim up and email or im him.Looks like they have electric adjustors too or is that enclosure behind the low beams part of the hid.?
