S. FL BMW Gathering This Saturday @ Markham Park->

Saturday- 2/21 @ 12:30-? , Markham Park in Ft. Lauderdale (Weston). All BMW's welcomed B.Y.O. food, BBQ, drinks, etc!!

Markham Park is located just north/west of the Sawgrass Expressway(westside) & I-75 (northside of, AKA "Alligator Alley")- on SR 84 (westbound)-

There is plenty of space, bring the family (or drop them off at nearby Sawgrass Mills Mall!!) On a side note, there is also an awesome RC airplane- helicopter flying field to check out. I take my 1.5 year old son out there every other weekend to check out the little planes & helicopters buzzing around!

So far there around 50 or so planning to attend, stop in & introduce yourselves! The weather should be in he 80's so bring the sunblock

i could be conned into comming to one of these things if it was closer, i don't know florida, i whipped out the atlas hoping it was around pensacola (air museum, and the battleship alabama on the way) that'd be like a 4 hour thing, but that's one long ass state, to quote homer simpson "florida! awl man that's americas wang"

......all friggin' day to drive out of Florida when you live in Miami, an even then, you're only in the Garden Spot of Valdosta Georgia! Miami to Pensacola is still 10-12 hours.

There's noting like a nice road trip -only stopping of course at 711's to fill upon Chili Cheese Bean Burritos & "gas" for the car !!!

As Brian C. mentioned, there is also a gun range at the park (you'd "kill" two birds w/ one stone!!) Cars & Guns!!! Hell Yeah-

A couple of guys off the Bimmerfourms board are gonna be there early Sat. morningto secure a huge section for us. Not sure exactly what end of the park, you migh haveto do a lap around & check it out. If I hear anythng, I'll let you know!

There is a BBQ,they just ask you bring something to pitch in
