Hey Ryan:
Thanks for the help on the other thread. Was reading the stuff my thrust arm search turned up and noticed you wrote awhile back, "Ryan Roopnarine's German Auto Haus is working on a replaceable ball joint even if it isn't for drop-in replacement use, that summabitch is coming out of the arm when i get some time with the press in orlando and a suitable piece of sheet metal to protect me from a likely metallic explosion. Its not a matter of whether or no it can come out, just a matter of time..."
I like the way you think. I've certainly hidden behind stuff while using the press (20 tons=fear).
I've replaced my control and thrust arm bushings and am pleased with the result. Of course I looked at the ball joints and wondered why those buggers aren't replaceable. The joint rubber fails and it's a matter of time on the joint. That's unmitigated crap. Any success?
If no other option, pro's/cons on the thrust arms available out there? Any avail w/o the bushing?
Thanks,
Paul
P.S. Benz V-what?
