Default New Problem: Car won't stay on unless I give it gas

The car stalls as soon as the revs drop below 1000 and then starting it is a b!tch, i have to give it a little gas to get it turn over. Battery power is fine, head lights are bright and everything works. It seems to run ok when its running, but it just wont stay running, is there something that i can do to temporarily fix this until i take it to the mechanic tomorrow? any help is appreciated. THanks

Get a new fuel filter and run some injector cleaner through. Good luck.

Default Jason, only thing I can think of ...

is ICV (Idle control valve). May be a quick check on connections would reveal some bug. Also check TPS (Throttle position sensor) connector, TPS may not be reporting idle position properly.
