In case you have problems with connecting the European style eyes headlights from DEPO, this info was just posted on another board:
After hours with my local BMW parts man here are the part numbers to wire in the DEPO euro version eye kit. The connectors are part number 61-13-1-378-417, you need 4 cost $4.00. you need 8 wires part number 61-13-0-007-446, cost $25.44.

those are on a newer e34 right? because on the 89 i dont think the lights have a cutout into the bumper...
anyway to get ones that look like

The pics are from an E32, not E34.
Headlights fit on E32 and E34, not the turn signals.
But there are many parts interchangeable between E34 and E32.
so i can try and find those eyes for an e32 and they fit correct?

Yes, no problem at all.
But if you want to make your own eyes, there are many instructions on the web. Such as this one
